Free fitness program for youth

The Great Fort Town Area Charity is offering a free 8-week fitness program for youth. The initiative is called the Youth Movement Project. It’s open to youth in grades 7 to 12.

The program kicks off on March 3 at the St. Lawrence Academy. It runs every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.

The program is designed to help youth work on physical endurance, strength, flexibility, emotional self-regulation, mindfulness and goal setting.
