Little Sisterz in Spencerville continues to fundraise for Centennial ‘67 Public School. The local restaurant held an event yesterday featuring Sandy Sharkey, an Ottawa photographer known for prints of wild horses.
Around $300 has been raised for the school to date, through the sale of Sharkey’s prints. The money will go to art and music programs at Centennial ‘67.
Owner Gina Vacchio says Sharkey discounted the cost of the prints to bring in more dollars.
The sale of Sharkey’s prints will continue until the end of the month.
Vacchio says the walls are still full and there are still magnificent pieces up for grabs.
