Little Sisterz, Sandy Sharkey partner to raise money for Centennial ‘67

A local business is doing its part to promote the arts. Little Sisterz has partnered with Sandy Sharkey, an Ottawa photographer known for prints of wild horses, to raise money for Centennial ‘67 Public School.

Owner Gina Vacchio says artists are allowed to display their pieces in exchange for donations to local charities. She says it’s a win-win-win. Vacchio says it changes the landscape of the walls at Little Sisterz every few months, helps charities and gives artists the chance to showcase their work.

Sharkey will be at Little Sisterz this Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00pm. A portion of the sales from her prints will go to the school.

Vacchio says the money will go towards art and music programs at Centennial.
