Brockville Police officers got called out to Walmart about a suspected shoplifter. The incident happened yesterday.
Staff told police that a male wearing a red track suit and carrying a black bag took off with electronics, clothes and chips.
A 17-year-old male was located and arrested a short distance away. He was taken to the police station and relatives were contacted for his release.
Police say that after leaving the station, the male began kicking a cruiser and assaulting the relative. Officers intervened and arrested the youth a second time. Police say the male then assaulted the officers, by kneeing one in the groin and biting another.
The male was held in custody pending a bail hearing. Â
