The Brockville Police Service caught up with two people who failed to show up in court. They were arrested Friday for outstanding warrants.
Police say the 22-year-old man and 23-year-old female tried to walk out of Walmart with a cartload of goods back in November. They were asked to show a receipt for their purchases. Police say staff was shown a receipt from the day before with only three items on it. Â Â
Police were called and they were charged with theft.
After being put in the back of a police car, officers say the man kicked out the rear driver’s side door. Both were arrested without incident.
Officers had to break up a fight between coworkers on King Street yesterday morning. A 26-year-old man was out celebrating with his fellow employees for a staff Christmas party.
When the group left the establishment, police say the man challenged his coworkers to a fight. Police broke up the brawl and the man was arrested. Â
