Two Prescott teens arrested for break-and-enter

A pair of teens from Prescott is facing charges after a break-in last week. On February 4th, OPP officers were called to a residence on County Road 2 in Augusta Township after a report of a break-in. It happened sometime during the night between the 3rd and 4th. The homeowner reported cash and other small items stolen.

Later that day police arrested an 18-year-old male from Prescott. He is facing charges of break and enter, theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana, and trespassing at night. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing. A 16-year-old from Prescott was also arrested and faces charges related to the break-and-enter.
