The Brockville General Hospital has new equipment to deal with patient emergencies. The hospital rolled out 10 new mobile crash carts this fall. Crash carts provide immediate access to equipment and medicine during a patient emergency.
Director of Professional Practice Kellie Kitchen says the re-designed carts are the product of many hours of hard work. She says everyone came together, through consultations with front line staff, to build better crash carts.
The carts have a new drawer system, which makes it easy to replace used equipment and medicine that are about to expire.
