Fashion Show in Prescott Fundraising for Beacon Bags

Your Dressing Room Boutique & Artisans will be raising money for Beacon Bags through a fashion show.

The show will be on Monday night from seven to 10. The boutique is at 121 King Street West in Prescott and the Owner Chantal Gravel says this is the first time they’ve done this event but hope to do it at least once a year moving forward. Six models will be wearing gently used clothing that will be for sale. Gravel adds Thrifty’s in Tincap donated a brand new wedding gown designed by Maggie Sottero valued at $2100.

Gravel says 50-percent of clothing sales and 100-percent of the sale of the wedding dress will be going to Beacon Bags.

Beacon Bags are filled with basic necessities like deodorant, hand sanitizer and a tooth brush. They are given to people who have been rescued from human trafficking.

Gravel says LeMar Luxe Spa Studio has offered to do the hair styling on the models that evening. Cardinal Flowers will be loaning the bridal bouquet and boutonnieres.

The event is free to attend and there will be light refreshments served.
