The body of Scott McPherson has been recovered from Sand Lake near Westport. The 33-year-old was last seen Friday night. McPherson was snowmobiling in the Westport area when he went missing.
The OPP’s Emergency Response Team (ERT), the OPP Snowmobile ATV Vessel Enforcement Team (SAVE), Rideau Lakes Fire Service with ATV support, and the OPP Unmanned Aerial Support (UAS) participated in the search.
The OPP urges everyone to stay off the ice, whether snowmobiling or on foot.
