Police are reminding the public that “lock it or lose it” also refers to ATV’s and snowmobiles. All-Terrain Vehicles and snowmobiles should always be stored inside a locked garage or storage facility when not in use, making them “out of sight – out of mind”.
An unlocked garage door or an open window is an invitation to thieves. It is also important to maintain a visual of the vehicle when left unattended during an outing and park it in a well-lit area.
