Tiny Tim and Scrooge will be making an appearance in Prescott.
John Huston will be performing A Christmas Carol as a one man show at the Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. It will be on December seventh. The show begins at 7:30 that evening and doors open at 7:00. Proceeds from the show will be going to the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival. General Manager of the festival, James Richardson, says the money will help keep much of their programming going.
“Every year we try to do new and different things and this helps us to keep doing it. Like most arts organizations, ticket sales cover about maybe 20 to 30-percent of the money we need to put on the work we do.”
Huston has been performing over 20 years but this will be the first time the show will be in Prescott. Richardson says this will be a great way for people to get into the Christmas spirit.
Tickets are $20 or $15 for students. For tickets visit the festival’s website here.
