Christmas Concerts in Spencerville Supporting Local Food Banks

Christmas is coming early in Spencerville.

The Spencerville Community Choir will be performing their Home for Christmas show in December. The shows will be at 2:00 in the afternoon on Sunday, December second and 7:30 at night on Monday, December third. This will be happening at Spencerville United Church, with tickets available at the door. Sheila Fawcett is the Director of the choir and says attendees can expect a joyful celebration of Christmas music and readings, both sacred and secular. There are 52 singers in this year’s shows, Fawcett adds this is the most ever.

Fawcett says the proceeds from the event will be given to Lazarus House and Edwardsburgh Foodbank. The show will last around two hours. Fawcett notes attendees should arrive early as the shows typically sell out every year. There is no reserved seating for the shows.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students aged 12-18 and $3 for children under 12.
