The Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley did a recount of votes from the Municipal Election. The recount was done this morning.
The request for a recount came from mayoral candidate Dan Downey, who lost by six votes to Brant Burrow. The tally at the time was 1,141 for Burrow and 1,135 for Downey. Â
The Certificate of Result of Recount shows a one vote error. The recount tally shows 1,140 for Burrow and 1,135 for Downey.
