Two-way Traffic Lanes Re-opened at BGH

Vehicles can now go two ways again at the Brockville General Hospital (BGH).

The Charles Street site entrance reopened to two-way traffic on Thursday last week. It was reduced to one lane in August because of construction for the new patient tower at the site. The work is part of the hospital’s Phase 2 Redevelopment Project. The tower will combine the services from the Garden Street site onto the main site off of Charles Street.

To go to the visitor parking lot, people can enter the Charles Street site from Ormond Street. The entrance will be on the left. Visitors can also use the traffic circle to drop off someone at the main entrance. To return to Charles Street, people must follow the signs.

For the Emergency parking lot, you can go from Ormond Street to the Charles Street site and the lot will be on the right.

You can enter the Emergency Department and barrier-free parking lot straight from Ormond Street. There is also a temporary entrance into the building from Ormond Street.
