The OPP are continuing their investigation into a collision that closed County Rd 2, last night in Augusta Township.
Before 6:00 pm Ontario Provincial Police, Grenville EMS, Prescott Fire Department and Augusta Township Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision between a car and a pickup truck. Investigation showed an eastbound Toyota Prius entered the westbound lanes and struck a Ford F-150.
The driver of the truck, a 55 year old North Grenville man was taken to hospital and released. The occupants of a Toyota Prius, a 47 year old man and his 10 year old son were both transported to hospital with serious and life threatening injuries.
Sadly the boy, Dasan Kota Munro was pronounced deceased after being transferred to a second hospital.
