The unofficial results for the Township of Augusta’s Municipal Election have been released.
Incumbent Mayor Doug Malanka has been re-elected with 1,491 votes, winning by 459 votes. Jeff Shaver has been elected as Deputy Mayor winning by 18 votes with 935 votes altogether.
Tanya Henry has been elected as a Councillor with 1,288 votes. Samantha Schapelhouman has been elected Councillor with 1,271 votes. Michele Ann Bowman is the third Councillor with 1,266 votes.
