The Mystical Mansion Gala will be raising funds for youths in the area.
Brockville Home Hardware and the Rotary Clubs of Brockville will be hosting the event. The gala is set for Friday, October 26th, in 1000 Islands Village Ballroom. It begins at 5:30 that night. Guests are welcome to wear costumes and there will be judging for most original costume. Doreen Barnes is one of the committee members for the gala and says the proceeds go towards the Rotary youth initiatives, which include: Camp Merrywood, Easter Seals Kids to Camp, Memorial Park Rotary Field House Revitalization, Rotary Soccer Field, Rotary Youth Clubs, High School Scholarships, Making Play Possible and other local programs.
Attendees will be able to enjoy a show Elliott Smith who is a professional magician and visit Sonia Nadina Hayes who will be reading tarot cards. Dinner begins at seven and the band Healy and Orr will perform after. There will be a live and silent auction.
