Brockville city council is expected to decide today whether or not to grant a further $1 million dollars to the Aquatarium. A senior staff report provided three options in response to the Aquatarium group’s request for further funding: granting no money at all; granting it with conditions, or providing a loan.
Aquatarium developer Simon Fuller has said he would donating another $1.5 million himself to cover the cost of the expanding footprint of the tourist attraction.
