You can get creative and support a future splash pad in Prescott.
The Splash Pad Committee has partnered with Green Things to raise money for the pad. People will be able to create fall containers. Lesley Todd is a committee member and says this has been a successful event for the committee.
“(It) has been a fabulous time for the participants, as mothers and daughters, groups of friends and even a few “gents” too leave the night with a wonderful creation. The group has organized these events in conjunction with the seasons so that the end product is something that can adorn their homes.”
Todd adds, Donna White and her husband Burt from Green Things, bring expertise in gardening to the event.
“Two previous container events have raised approximately two thousand dollars, and since the word is out that this is a fun night we are expecting more participants for the fall container class.”
