It may have only been his first go but Prescott’s Matthew Markell has made his mark at the Canadian National Skate Championships, in Halifax.
Markell earned a Silver Medal yesterday after finishing second in the short program, free skate & overall standings.
He may only be 15 years old but after an 11th place finish at the Skate Canada Challenge to get to th eNationals…he is certainly heading onward & upward.
