A 17-year-old male from Augusta Township is in custody after a breaking and entering. On January 6th, the youth was caught stealing items from a vehicle on McCrea Road. On the 16th, he was spotted breaking into a locked room in a retirement home.
The teen has been charged with 2 counts of failure to comply with probation, breaking and entering with the intention to commit an indictable offence, and theft under $5,000 from a motor vehicle. He awaits a bail hearing.
