Fire Truck Play Structure raffle aims to raise $30,000 for local fire departments

Tickets are still available for the Fire Truck Play Structure built by Lockwood Brothers Construction. The raffle will bring in dollars for the North Grenville Fire Service, Merrickville Fire Department and Edwardsburgh-Cardinal Fire Department.

All money raised will be used to buy smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors for people who can’t afford them. Owner Corey Lockwood says ticket sales are falling short of his goal to donate $10,000 to each of the three fire departments.

The draw date is December 14 and Lockwood Brothers is hoping to deliver the structure to the lucky winner on Christmas morning.

The cost is $5 per ticket or three tickets for $10. Tickets are available at the North Grenville Fire Hall, MotorTrendz, DR Howell Electric and at the Lockwood Brothers office on Totem Ranch Road.

People can also buy tickets at upcoming local events like the Spencerville Fair. For more details or to get tickets, contact Lockwood Brothers directly by calling 613-258-4225.
