Health Unit challenges young people to quit smoking, for a cash prize

Would you rather quit smoking, reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke, or stay smoke-free for a chance to win cash?  The Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit, in partnership with the provincial organization Leave the Pack Behind, is hosting the annual wouldurather…. contest.  It’s open to people aged 18 to 29. Health Promoter Rebecca Shams tells us about the Grand Prize.

You can also challenge yourself to cut your number of cigarettes in half, or to quit smoking when you drink.

You can even win a prize for remaining a non-smoker. The deadline for entries is midnight, January 24th. Visit www.wouldurather.ca for all the information.
