A 44-year-old Augusta Township woman is facing charges after driving drunk on the weekend. Around 6:30pm on Sunday, January 10th, Grenville County OPP received a 911 call of a single vehicle collision. A pickup truck had crashed and rolled onto its side in the ditch at the corner of Charleville Road and the Fourth Concession.
Three people had been in the truck but no one was hurt. A woman identifying herself as the driver proved to have booze on her breath. She failed the roadside test and was arrested for over 80 milligrams blood alcohol. She was charged with impaired driving and will appear in Brockville Court at a later date.
