A 24-year-old man from Edwardsburgh/Cardinal is facing charges after assaulting a 16-year-old boy in Prescott. Just before 4:00pm on Saturday, police were advised of an assault that had happened on Churchill Road.
The victim had been taken to hospital to have his injuries treated but his attacker was still there, being held by a witness. The accused was arrested and charged with assault. He will appear in court at a later date.
