It’s in you to give. A Blood Donor Clinic is set for Thursday next week at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. The clinic runs from 1:30 to 4:00pm and again from 5:00 to 7:30pm. Territory Manager Mary Ann St. Michael says blood is always in high demand during long weekends.
Canadian Blood Services tries to have a supply of between five and seven days for each blood type on hand. The supply of Type O Positive blood is currently under three days and Type O Negative is less than two days. St. Michael says the need for Type O blood is high.
