Colouring Night event to benefit the HOL Birthday program

A Colouring Night event will bring in some dollars for The Birthday Club. The program is being launched by the House of Lazarus (HOL) this fall. Food Bank clients will be able to access birthday hampers and gifts for their children. Event Organizer Leslie Snowdon says the HOL has helped her and she wants to return the favour.

The cost is $20 to take part in the event, which is set for August 1 at 6:30pm. The Colouring Night is being held in the Community Room at Jonsson’s Independent. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the HOL. Snowdon says everyone is welcome.

If 25 people come out for the event, a charity box of books will go to the HOL as well. The Birthday Club will benefit over 200 local kids who access the food bank on an annual basis. The HOL serves people from South Grenville, North Grenville, South Dundas and North Dundas. For more details, contact Snowdon directly by emailing [email protected].
