Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark is giving area residents a chance to have their say about what they want to see in this year’s provincial budget. Clark will host pre-budget consultation meetings in the riding later this month. The meetings, which are open to the public, will be held in our area on Wednesday, January 20th.
The Legislative Assembly’s Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs is holding hearings in larger centres across the province, but Clark said it’s important to hear from those people living and working in smaller communities and rural areas.
Clark said people will have the opportunity to make a brief presentation at his pre-budget consultations or a written submission. All feedback will be sent to the Finance Minister for consideration in preparing the 2016 budget.
