Access to the east visitor parking lot at the Brockville General Hospital will be under construction starting on Monday. This lot is located outside of the main entrance.
Visitors and patients are being asked to use the parking lot beside the Emergency Department entrance. Brockville Collegiate Institute (BCI) will provide overflow parking. BCI is right beside the hospital on 90 Pearl Street East.
The Hospital will have security stationed at the parking lot to direct traffic during peak hours.
BGH is also asking visitors and patients to consider being dropped off at the main entrance for scheduled services or appointments.
No services, including emergency access, will be affected by the construction. The hospital is anticipating the construction will be completed by mid-August.
The construction is for the new patient tower they are building on Charles Street.
