There is a partial burn ban in effect right now for Edwardsburgh Cardinal Township.
Burn barrels, brush piles and agricultural burning are all prohibited. Campfires are the only burning that is allowed at this time.
Fire Chief Brian Moore says violators could get charged with the cost of any fires.
The partial burn ban was put in place yesterday morning. It will be lifted when the weather changes and more rain comes.
