Police advise motorists on how to avoid road rage

OPP officers in Leeds County are speaking out about road rage. Almost everyone has experienced feelings of frustration or anger while behind the wheel. If you don’t control your emotions, however, you could get yourself into a difficult and potentially dangerous situation.

Police advise drivers to slow down and relax. Be polite and courteous, even when others are not. Do not make eye contact with an angry driver and do not retaliate. If you are being harassed and followed by another driver, head to the nearest police station to report it.
