It’s been 14 years since the RCMP Musical Ride has been at Fort Wellington.
Leslie MacPherson is the Communications Officer for this region of Parks Canada and says Parks Canada is pleased to welcome the RCMP Musical Ride at Fort Wellington on July 4th.
MacPherson notes the Aboriginal Experiences, Arts and Culture group has a strong reputation for providing parts of events that both respect and reflect the Indigenous cultures of Canada. They will have a powwow drum, songs with interactive performances and contemporary style dancers in full regalia during the event.
MacPherson also says you can eat there that evening but make sure you plan for seating.
Admission is free and they are accepting cash donations that will go directly to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch in Prescott.
