Windmill Will Be Apart of Doors Open Event

The Battle of the Windmill National Historic Site is one of eight local historic venues taking part in the Doors Open event tomorrow. The Ontario Heritage Trust and the site partners will be hosting the Brockville and area pop-up festivities. You can enjoy free admission for sites that normally charge a fee to enter.

Anne Shropshire is the Coordinator of Eastern Ontario Sites for Ontario Heritage Trust. She says there will be other free activities to enjoy as well.

The seven other sites include: Fulford Place, the Brockville Railway Tunnel, Homewood Museum, the First Presbyterian Church, the First Baptist Church, Brockville Museum and Maplehurst Manor.

Shropshire adds the other sites will have different things to enjoy too.
