Another person has put their name forward for the fall Municipal Election in Prescott.
Reilly Dwyer has registered as a candidate for the position of councillor, according to the town’s Unofficial List of Candidates.
Dwyer posted on Facebook that she’s running because she loves “this place”, and she wants to “protect its assets, and encourage it to grow”.
Teresa Jansman also registered for the position of councillor last month.

Municipal elections across the province take place Monday, October 22nd. Candidates have until July 27th to file their nomination papers.
