A 22-year-old man is facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop in South Dundas. Just after 1:30 in the afternoon on Monday, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. check on County Road 11.
They searched the vehicle and found a quantity of cocaine and amphetamine. The North Dundas man at the wheel resisted arrest. He is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, resisting and obstructing a peace officer. He was held in custody pending a bail appearance.
