The snow may have winter enthusiasts excited for the season’s activities but local snowmobile clubs are warning the trails are not open yet. Snowmobile trails haven’t been properly groomed yet and until announcements are made, sledders are asked to stay off them.
Police would also like to warn the public about venturing out onto the ice. We haven’t had enough consistently cold days to properly thicken the ice, and it can’t support your weight or your vehicle.
