Update: Traffic starting to backup on County Road 2 as it’s diverted from Highway 401.
The westbound lanes of Highway 401 are closed between Highway 16 and Highway 416.
That section runs from Johnstown to near Prescott.
Grenville County OPP says that a collision has occurred and officers have closed all westbound lanes at this time. There’s no other details regarding the crash, however the OPP says officers are on the scene.
Traffic is being diverted to the Emergency Detour Route on County Road 2.
