Provincial candidates gather in Kemptville to highlight party platforms

Hundreds came out to the all-candidates meeting for the upcoming provincial election. The event was held at the North Grenville Municipal Centre last night. A moment of silence for the late MP Gord Brown preceded opening statements. Each candidate had five minutes to explain their platforms.

Green Party candidate Derek Morley was first to speak. He says voter reform is needed in Ontario.

NDP candidate Michelle Taylor was up next. She says the government needs to offer more help to vulnerable people.

Liberal candidate David Henderson says investments made today will benefit the province in the long run.
