The Town of Prescott have marked next week as Prescott PROUD week.
PROUD stands for People Rejuvenating Our Uptown and Downtown. Tourism and Recreation Coordinator Katie Allard says it’s all about improving and beautifying the town. Mayor Brett Todd says residents are encouraged to reach out to the town on its website about any potential projects, comments or suggestions.
Councillor Fraser Laschinger encourages everyone to pitch in, even if it’s just in their own backyard. Adding that with this kind of project every little bit helps. According to town hall this is the fourth PROUD week.
