Some changes are coming to the Prescott Service Canada.
According to Councillor Teresa Jansman she received notice that the Service Canada, which is currently at the post office, will be moving to the CSE near Mr. Gas. It will also reportedly be open one day a week.
Mayor Brett Todd says he thinks they need to fight this. Jansman mentioned the possibility of writing a letter saying they don’t think one day a week is sufficient for Prescott.
Todd added that he’s talked to MPP Steve Clark about this and they’ll be bringing this issue back to the committee of the whole meeting in June for further update.
