The woman rescued after crashing off a boat ramp in Rideau Lake Township has passed away.
On May 11th at around 11:55pm the OPP say they were told a woman had drive off a boat ramp near Forrester’s Landing Drive. According to the OPP they arrived within five minutes and found the vehicle totally under the water approximately 50 meters out from land.
The OPP say a member of their Emergency Response Team and volunteer firefighter dove into the water, assisting the woman from her vehicle. According to police lifesaving efforts were commenced and she was then take to Kingston.
She was in critical condition, before passing away on Tuesday.
