On the 20th of December, officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on King St West at Sophia St. in the Town of Prescott. At 8:10 pm police observed a vehicle traveling westbound come up to the R.I.D.E. program. Police noted the smell of alcohol coming from the breath of the driver who subsequently failed the roadside test. He was arrested for Over 80 and taken to the Prescott Detachment where he provided samples of his breath.
A 26 year old male from Montague Township has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle Over 80 and failing to comply with Probation Order. He is to appear in Brockville Court at a later date.
