Foodcore LGL wants your help finishing the local Food Inventory.
Health Unit Program Manager Elaine Murkin says the Food Inventory is an online databank covering all different aspects of food in our community. She says it is broken into five topics.
She says they want the inventory to be a one stop shop for all things food related in Leeds Grenville and Lanark. The inventory is two years old but the Health Unit thinks can be more complete. Murkin says Foodcore operates off of a Food Charter, which is also broken down into five categories.
Murkin finished by stressing that the Food Inventory is an asset to both food consumers and producers. A link to their website can be found here.
