Woman in Brockville Charged After Pretending to be a Personal Support Worker

A woman has been arrested and charged after pretending to be a personal support worker.

Brockville Police Services says their officers responded to a Water Street address after they were told about a suspicious person. When officers arrived on the scene they found a woman in her early 40s. According to Brockville Police their officers discovered the woman would pretend to be a support worker into order to prey on victims. She would use the ruse to gain entry to various units and then steal property from inside.

She was arrested and charged with personation and breach of probation.
