That’s the message from OPP Constable Shawn Peever, who says thieves will often just move on if a vehicle is locked.
Peever says you should also be in the habit of locking your car if you’re at home too.
Peever also says you should get into the habit of always locking your home as well as your shed and garage if you’re going out.
