Police will be cracking down on drivers without seatbelts this Easter Long Weekend.
That’s the message from OPP Constable Catherine Yarmel, who says the reason for wearing your seat-belt shouldn’t be about avoiding a ticket.
Yarmel also reminds you that it’s the law that anyone under 16-years-old in a car to be wearing a seatbelt at all times.
The campaign begins Friday province-wide on OPP patrolled roadways before wrapping up on Easter Monday.
