A Leeds County cop has new charges added to his rap sheet. 52-year-old OPP Constable George Duke is already on suspension in connection to a local drug trafficking ring. Now he is facing additional charges of assault, uttering threats of bodily harm, and forcible confinement.
The charges stem from a collision on September 2nd where Duke allegedly assaulted a 78-year-old man from Quebec. The 20-year-member of the police force will appear in Brockville court on January 22nd. He continues to be paid, under the Police Services Act.
