The Township of Augusta is reminding residents to register for the municipal and school elections in the fall.
A post on the township’s website reminds anyone who will be 18 years of age or older to confirm they’re on the list to vote. The reminder includes a link to voterlookup.ca, a site run by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation that is used to identify potential electors.
By going to the site eligible voters can confirm or update their electoral information, add an elector name to an address or change school support. MPAC stresses that the website cannot be used for requests involving individuals under the age of 18 on election day. The election will be held on October 22nd and the website can be found
