Parents with children who love animals may want to check out a March Break camp being put on by the SPCA.
Leeds and Grenville Animal Centre Manager Marianna Carlyle says children interested in learning about animal welfare should register for their Unleashed Children’s March Break Camp. Children must be between eight and 11-years-old to register and the camp runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm March 13th, 14th and 15th.
Campers will learn about animals of all kind while having hands-on experiences with animals. There will be lessons in animal care, walks in the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area, crafts, outdoor activities and the making of animal treats. Snacks will be provided.
