Spring Load Restrictions are in place across the United Counties.
Drivers are being asked to watch for signage as load restrictions went in to effect yesterday, across Leeds & Grenville. The Public Works department issued a statement yesterday saying that due to Spring-like conditions, some roads will see their tonnage allowance lowered from 10 tonnes per axle to 5 tonnes.
The affected roads will be clearly marked with signage and the restrictions are lifted when the potential for damage has decreased, usually around the end of April of early May.
